Every Single Person Represents 1 Color

life is never flat, we feel different feeling each second. My teacher ever said 'how many type that red color has?', we said 'there are pink, rose red, and ... '
and my teacher said 'is this pink?'
we said 'yes, it is'
then my teacher asked again 'then, what is this? isn't this pink?'
my teacher said 'so pink has so many type right? then again if pink has so many type, how many type does red have?'
the answer is 'uncountable'.
i thought every single person in the world have a right to have their really own color, because perhaps the amount of color is more than amount of people in the world. They can mix and match every color by their own. And if we can make our own color, we can make our rainbow. As known that rainbow appears after rain in the sky, but we can make it here, on earth.

and this is my rainbow. myself.

Quote of the day

The best prayer is when someone prays for us, but we don't know whether he/she praying for us.

So, don't you worry if your best friends look like don't care about your life, deep inside they just make the best prayer.

I See The Light

talked about my last post about 'light', i have an awesome song from Tangled movie, it's a soundtrack sung by Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi. It's beautiful song

Mandy Moore:
All those days watching from the windows
All those years outside looking in
All that time never even knowing
Just how blind I've been
Now I'm here, blinking in the starlight
Now I'm here, suddenly I see
Standing here, it's all so clear
I'm where I'm meant to be

And at last I see the light
And it's like the fog has lifted
And at last I see the light
And it's like the sky is new
And it's warm and real and bright
And the world has somehow shifted
All at once everything looks different
Now that I see you

Zachary Levi :
All those days chasing down a daydream
All those years living in a blur
All that time never truly seeing
Things, the way they were
Now she's here shining in the starlight
Now she's here, suddenly I know
If she's here it's crystal clear
I'm where I'm meant to go

Both :
And at last I see the light

Zachary Levi:
And it's like the fog is lifted

Both:
And at last I see the light

Mandy Moore:
And it's like the sky is new

Both :
And it's warm and real and bright
And the world has somehow shifted
All at once, everything is different
Now that I see you, now that I see you

There's A Light

today is the first remedial day, and we got 2 today. Indonesian and History.
in Indonesian, we had to write everything we wanted to write in 3 paragraph and decided some conjunctions' function. in History, we had to answer 10 questions correctly, thanks Lord I got 8.
But those were not a big deal. the next hours we watched 'Despicable Me' in class, it was so damn funny that nobody didn't laugh. It's high recommended movie, must watch, I have twice.
then some of my friends copied a couple movie from me, movies are such a time killer for semester's holiday.

when everyone's back home, there are Ade, Voila, Arden (you can find them in my blog list) and I stayed in the class. We talked about soooooooooooo much much thing, actually we talked about future.
We imagined or hoped perhaps, that we could go to college together, stay in the same boarding house, get a great faculty, get a job, get married, have a baby. Having a baby is Voila's big dream, I don't have that far away imagination.
But we just scared of future, when everything's done by ourself without parents, seemed suck.
I just remember my parents said that there's always a way when we get there, If we imagine it now maybe we'll be pessimist, but if we get them in front of our eyes, we can finally solve it.
There's always a way, because Lord never give hard thing that His people can not solve, THERE'S ALWAYS A LIGHT IN THE DARK. semangat teman - teman :D

Every Child is An Artist

It's our report about Indonesian ornaments. It's titled 'Every Child is An Artist' to celebrate Universal Children Day (20 Nov). We made a kind of scrapbook that full of crayonize, doodle and button.

Albinos was threaten even in their own island

They are being hunted down and hacked to death to satisfy a growing demand for their body parts and blood to use in black magic.

It is the stuff of nightmares.

In the Mwanga district, near Mount Kilimanjaro, a baby girl was dressed in black by her mother and left alone in the family hut.

A group of men cut off the pale girl's legs, slit her throat, poured the blood into a pot and drank it.

In another sickening case a man was caught trying to enter the Democratic Republic of Congo with an albino child's HEAD in his luggage.

He said a businessman in the country had offered to pay generously for the trophy, depending on the weight of the head.

The stories go on. A 35-year-old fisherman at Lake Tanganyika allegedly attempted to sell his 24-year-old albino wife to two businessmen from Congo for around £2,000.

And just last week, in the province of Shinyanga, 13-year-old albino Elizabeth Hussein was tempted from her home after hearing that a film about Jesus was to be screened in the village.

On the way back she was hacked apart by a machete-armed mob. Her limbs were found at the home of a witch doctor - who fled cops following a tip-off.

Two days later 47-year-old Ezekiel John, 47, was shot and had his arms and legs severed near the city of Kigoma.

These latest killings bring the number of brutal deaths of albinos in Tanzania to 35 in just a year.

The minority community also suffers massive prejudice. Not only do they struggle to get jobs but the kids also need bodyguards to get to school safely.

Even corpses are not safe. Heavy rocks have to be placed on top of the graves of albinos to stop bodysnatchers.

Slaughter

Safety ... map of Ukerewe Island in Lake Victoria, Tanzania
Little wonder that so many Tanzanian albinos are flocking to a refuge on the remote island of Ukerewe on Lake Victoria, where such shocking behaviour is mercifully rare.

Alphonce Kajanja, an albino fishmonger, runs a stall in Ukerewe's main market.

He says: "Life is better on the island. People here don't believe in this satanic campaign."

Albinism is an inherited disorder. Sufferers lack melanin pigment, which protects the skin, eyes and hair from the sun's ultraviolet rays.

Because they are so prone to skin cancer in scorching Tanzania, sufferers have an average life expectancy of just 30.

Across the world, around one person in 20,000 suffers from albinism. But it is much more widespread in Africa, with a rate of around one in 5,000.

Ukerewe is thought to have the world's highest concentration.

Legend has it that a mineral in native fish causes the high level of albinism.

But some locals believe dumped albino children traditionally found sympathy and foster homes among Ukerewe's big-hearted population.

The recent albino slaughter spree is being blamed on witch doctors, who claim that limbs and blood from pale-skinned sufferers enhance spells.

Fishermen believe if they weave the red hair from an albino into nets, fish will be attracted by the glimmer.

Miners for gold, rubies and mineral tanzanite pay large sums for charms made with a potion mixed from albino body parts.

Others are said to bury the bones of albinos as they dig.

The Tanzanian Albino Society was established to fight the spread of such beliefs in the vast country, which has a population of 40million.

the Tanzanian Albino Society
The charity is funded by the British organisation Action On Disability & Development.

Zihada Msembo, the secretary general of the society, says: "They are cutting us up like chickens. Our biggest fear right now is the fear of living.

?If you leave work at night as an albino you are unsure of reaching home safely. When you sleep you are unsure of waking up in one piece.

"In the streets you hear people plotting. They say, 'Look at the zeru (the Swahili word for ghost) - we can get him'.

"We are terrified to go outside or to get into our beds at night."

Al-Shaymaa Kwegyir, Tanzania's first albino MP, is determined to halt the murderous campaign against her people.

She is delighted 170 arrests have been made in relation to the killings so far.

But no one has been successfully prosecuted and she wants tougher action from President Jakaya Kikwete and the government.

Al-Shaymaa, 48, says: "In October we staged a demonstration in the city of Dar es Salaam to raise awareness of our situation. Many people were brave and supported it.

"But that same evening one of the demonstrators was followed home. She was grabbed and the assailants cut off her arm.

?They tried to hack off the other and it was left hanging and later had to be amputated. The attackers ran away.

"Now she is living in terror because she won't be able to fight back if they come after her again."

Ernest Kimaya, 42, chairman of the society, says: "The people who are killing us are witch doctors or agents for them.

?What is happening is mad and horrible - but we need to stand up to it.

"We need money to pay a lawyer. The government has ordered the police to carry out a census of albinos so we know how many of us there are.

?They have been told to protect us and escort children to school.

"It is a big step forward - but we urgently need prosecutions to begin so that more Tanzanians hear of this injustice."

Lorelle

that pigtailed-girl, called Lola, has been realizing the meaning of growing up.
" Growing up means lonely " she whispered by herself.
She try to remember how her last life feels so 'just for her', complete parents, no sibling, friends. She wrote a letter for herself.

" The most thing that I miss is how my junior high school's friends treat me as a little child. although i'm not the youngest person, they still assumed me as a small young child. They helped me on everything.
my chair mate, she's the best. Perhaps she was my sister at that time.
She hugged me when I cried, I completely remember when a girl in my class mad at me, I'm such a sensitive person so I just cried in front of the class. They also told me to not cry anymore. They calmed me down.
Everybody was ever pinched my chubby cheek, they did it when I started to whine and disturb them.
And they also said that I was tiny little cayenne pepper, I was small, I was little, but I was shrewd enough at that time. I was just like a little princess who was guarded by everyone.
Now, here. Everybody's treated the same. No one cares about my whining, I cry alone, They shout to me when I disturb them, Most of them are brusque.
If I could take it back, i do not want to replace them, nor back to the age when I was a little princess, I just want to change all of them.
no... no... i can't change anyone.
I have to change myself. I do really sure that I'm so stubborn and selfish lately, but it's a natural emotion, right? I mean every person has it.
See, I have confessed that I try to make up every single detail of my life, so won't you all treat me well, I'll deem it as my praise "

Police found her letter in her room, when Lola was in her way to the mental hospital.
The day after she wrote that letter, she almost burnt her friend.

School's Anniversary

My school's 53rd anniversary held for 3 days (4, 5, 6 nov 2010), the theme was 'Future Culture of Indonesia', but then it's changed to be 'Charity concert for Merapi'

#first day
we had to joined sociodrama, wall magazine, recycle, poem, speech, bazaar, costume competition and etc.
My class' theme was office, so everyone wore blouse, blazer, skirt, suit-dress. We stole our mom's shoes and bag.
School committee told us that we had to bike to school, it was so crowded but fun. It's synchronous with my class' costume-theme "BIKE TO WORK".
We don't hope much to get the prize, we have worked hard, let's just wait the result.

Our wall magazine, about 'Culture of Indonesia that claimed by other country'

#second day
We had to wear 'batik' today, we attended ceremony in the morning.
While the ceremony took place, suddenly it was raining ash.
My city is so close to Merapi (25km), Merapi mountain is the most active volcano in Indonesia, it's showed its activity since a week ago and it's ridiculously frightening. All about Merapi is here. All the victims of Merapi had been evacuated. #PrayForIndonesia
live must go on, Merapi hasn't destroyed my city yet, so we kept going on anniversary celebration. We kept doing normal activity, but the difference was everyone wore a mask.

#Third Day
it was the maximum fun, Seventeen band made a whole school singing. we also did 'flash mob', played playstation, had a lunch together, took so many pictures by webcam and Bakti sosial for victims of Merapi.

i'm a green-veil girl
